California Standards Test
(CST)


CLICK HERE to easily see the State Board of Education produced Web site, which features dozens of actual test questions that students have faced at every grade level. You are able to select Grade Level, Subject, and Performance Level and it takes you to those questions. This site displays just a few sample questions in each area, for dozens more samples, visit the sites below.

Blueprints - Description of the standards that your child learns in class and the number of questions given for each standard on the test.
Released questions - Questions used on previous tests, with answers. If you can do these, then you have a good idea of what to expect.

College and Career Update:

 

        The Explore Test sponsored by ACT will be given free to all 8th grade students at the beginning of November. Informational booklets will be sent home to all parents. In addition all parents will receive the test results in early January.  Please visit the ACT  website for more information: www.act.org
